1. Data controller

The controller of personal data processed in connection with the use of lyktadetektyw.pl is:

2. Scope and purpose of processing

Data submitted through the contact form, by e-mail or by telephone is processed solely in order to respond to your enquiry, present terms of engagement and conduct further correspondence.

• Categories of data: name, company or institution, e-mail address, telephone number and the content of your message.
• Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the controller's legitimate interest in handling correspondence and enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Retention: until the correspondence is concluded and any claims are time-barred, and no longer than necessary for the purposes stated.

Providing data is voluntary but necessary for us to reply. We carry out no profiling and no automated decision-making.

3. Data processed in connection with an engagement

If an engagement for investigative services is concluded, client data and data obtained in the course of the work are processed in accordance with the Polish Detective Services Act of 6 July 2001 and with the GDPR.

• Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Confidentiality: a licensed investigator is bound by statutory professional secrecy covering sources of information and the circumstances of the matter. That duty continues after the engagement ends.
• Storage of material: case documentation is stored so as to prevent access by unauthorised persons, for as long as needed to complete the engagement and defend against claims, and is then permanently deleted.

4. Recipients of data

Data may be entrusted to providers of hosting, e-mail and contact-form services — only to the extent necessary to provide those services and under data processing agreements.

Data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Disclosure to state authorities occurs only in the cases provided for by law.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access your data and obtain a copy of it,
• rectify inaccurate data,
• erasure of data,
• restriction of processing,
• data portability,
• object to processing,
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal,
• lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland.

Exercising some of these rights may be limited by the investigator's professional secrecy obligations and by the Detective Services Act.

6. Cookies and analytics

lyktadetektyw.pl uses no advertising or profiling cookies. We run no online advertising and pass no data to data brokers.

Essential storage

We store only your decision about analytics consent. That information is kept locally in your browser (local storage) and is not sent to our server. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the correct operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics cookies

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are visited and how long visits last. This serves only to assess whether our content is useful and to improve the site.

• Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, in which Google is a certified participant.
• Cookies: _ga and _ga_<ID> — stored for up to 2 years, used to distinguish browsers in order to count unique visitors.
• Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Act).
• Anonymisation: the IP address is truncated before storage. We do not combine analytics data with contact form submissions and make no attempt to identify individuals.
• Provider's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Withdrawing consent

Analytics scripts load only after consent is given in the banner — before that the site makes no connection to Google's servers. You may withdraw consent at any time via Cookie settings in the footer; the Google Analytics cookies will then be deleted. Settings can also be changed in your browser, including blocking cookies entirely.

7. Contact form

The contact form is handled by FormSubmit, which forwards the message to our e-mail address. The service does not build user profiles and does not use submitted data for its own marketing. If you would rather avoid it, please write directly to biuro@lyktaofficial.eu or call us.

8. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risks and to the categories of data protected, including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS), access control over correspondence, and secure storage of case documentation.

9. Changes to this policy
